Mr. Hingson is an experienced criminal and civil trial attorney practicing primarily in the areas of Criminal Defense, Personal Injury/Wrongful Death and Medical Malpractice. He graduated with Honors from the University of Florida in 1996 with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and a Minor in Business Administration. He subsequently attended Mississippi College School of Law on a full academic scholarship, graduating in 2000, Magna Cum Laude.

Mr. Hingson has always been active in leadership activities. From 1991 to 1993, he served as Florida State President and National Vice President of the National FFA Organization (formerly Future Farmers of America). While attending the University of Florida, Mr. Hingson was inducted into Florida Blue Key, the State of Florida's oldest and most prestigious leadership honorary. At Mississippi College School of Law, he was an award winning member of the Moot Court Board and was elected Chief Justice of the Honor Court. As a professional, Mr. Hingson has remained active in the community and in leadership activities, including past membership in the Rotary Club and rising through the ranks of the Third Judicial Circuit of Florida's Bar Association culminating with his term as President in 2008.

Mr. Hingson has gained valuable experience as both a criminal and civil trial lawyer. During the bulk of his first decade as an attorney, Mr. Hingson served as a criminal prosecutor, honing his litigation and trial skills at the State Attorney's Office in Florida. Mr. Hingson prosecuted in six counties in North Central Florida and supervised two of those offices. His last four years with the State Attorney’s Office, Mr. Hingson handled almost exclusively Special Prosecution matters, which are the State of Florida’s most serious and complex criminal cases, including homicides, child sex offenses, rapes and public corruption cases. Mr. Hingson tried numerous cases before a jury and had a 94% jury trial conviction rate. In addition to his experience as a prosecutor, Mr. Hingson has also worked in private practice at two prestigious North Florida law firms. As a private attorney, he handled Criminal Defense and Civil Litigation matters, including work as both an attorney for the Plaintiff and the Defendant, and in a variety of practice areas, including but not limited to personal injury, wrongful death and medical malpractice.

Mr. Hingson has been a member of the Florida Bar in good standing for over eleven years, and is in the process of waiving into both the Tennessee and District of Columbia Bars.
